Snorkelling from the Dive boat

If you are a group who are a mixture of divers and snorkellers, there are several spots at the Daymaniyat Islands that offer diving and snorkelling near to each other. So we are happy to have mixed groups on the dive boat.

It is important that snorkellers are aware that they are on a dive boat, and as such there is time spent as the divers are in and out of the water away from the snorkelling spot and particularly for collecting the divers, the dive boat will have to leave the snorkelling spot to collect the divers.

When possible we have an additional snorkelling guide on the boat who will stay with the snorkellers, we have buoyancy aids that all snorkellers are welcome to use during their trip and between 1st November and 30th April you can step ashore to enjoy the white sandy beaches if a break is required. This is a great option where you have divers and non-divers in the same group, and everyone will have a lovely day. You may want to consider a Discover Scuba for the non – divers so they can experience what you are experiencing and who knows they might catch the bug and be diving with you in the future. If you are just snorkellers in your group, we would recommend going on the dedicated snorkelling boat instead.

If your snorkellers are children, please be aware that an adult must stay with the snorkelling child at all times, if all adults are divers, it is possible for 1 adult to do the first dive and the other to do the second dive.
